The Laser finishes for December 15 and 16, 2012.

Light wind on Saturday and brisk when it finally set in on Sunday.

Darcy was a close fourth on the first light air race on Saturday and then went in with the Youth team to have the boats put away before noon.   The other folks were sailing 420s with us.

Rob Krentel is usually at the top of our list but had other duties on Sunday.  Too bad Rob because it was you kind of wind.

Randy Rea came on Saturday to show us he is all healed from his abdominal surgery.  I think he was so far ahead he was able to finish that second race before the wind went up instead of sideways.

Vince Renzoni is sailing better every week.  He mange the only capsize on Sunday.  He is getting ahead and then losing things at the finish.

Dave Chapin came to sail with us on Sunday.  He hung back for a couple of races to watch us sail and then couldn’t’ stand it anymore in the last two races.

Marc Solal, our heavy weight, got a second in that really really light air race.  Go figure.

Sam was rewarded for sailing both days.  Hard to be a weekend winner with sailing only one day. 

 Laser finishes for December 1 and 2, 2012.

David Chapin and Jerry Beck were at DIYC for the D 13 Laser Championships and struggled with course. 

The Advanced youth went to Halifax and sailed Hobies on the river in light wind.  Tough conditions remembering that catamarans are fast when windy and slow in light wind with both hulls in the water.

Randy Rea came and sailed with us.  His first time out since abdominal surgery. Rob beat him by one point on Saturday.  They would have been tied if we hadn’t sailed that last race.

We have Marc Solal centerboard repaired and are ready for a big turnout in two weeks.
