Vince Renzoni 4-5-4-6-nf+5-5-6-6-6-6           61

Chris Nagy      ns-ns-ns-5-2+ns                         76

Dean Grimes            ns+ns-ns-ns-5-7-7           78

Dean Grimes came late on Sunday. He hasn’t been sailing a Laser for a long time and this was a tough day to get started again.  He had a 5th in his first race and then the boat started to fill with water because the stern plug was missing.  He didn’t figure that out till he got back to shore and it took about everybody to pull the boat out so it would drain.

Chris Nagy was late arriving on Saturday and sailed a radial. When I corrected the times, he didn’t pick up any boats, but sailed the radial into second place in the last race Saturday.

Vince Renzoni continues to hang in there with the higher winds and he is getting better and better.

Sam Chapin would like the wind to drop off a little.  This is exciting sailing for most of us and a little scary for him.  In the fourth race on Sunday he hit the weather mark, but there were boats all around him.  The wind had picked up and there was no way he could sail clear of the other boats and then do a 360.  Easier to drop out.

David Chapin came out on Sunday. He won all the races he sailed except 3rd race when the sheet slipped out of his hand and he death rolled after rounding the windward mark.

Marc Solal’s day.  Wind up holding the boat flat. Better starts. He is getting better and better.  He got spray in his face that put sun screen into his eyes so he couldn’t see, that was his drop out in the last race on Saturday.

Jerry beck was really sailing flat and fast. He won a race on both days and seemed always to be up there with Rob.

Rob Krentel is our winner when David C. and Alejandro don’t show up.  He set up our course both days with the two short reaches that added more excitement to the day. Thank you, Rob.
